The African Diaspora Women Entrepreneurs Network (ADWEN) is a purpose-driven community dedicated to supporting African immigrant and diaspora women as they build, grow, and sustain businesses across global markets. We recognize that African diaspora women often navigate complex systems—legal, cultural, financial, and social—while carrying responsibilities across borders. Despite these challenges, they continue to build. ADWEN exists to ensure they do not build alone.

Founder of African Diaspora Women Entrepreneurs Network

Dr. Rene Anita Chombeng founded ADWEN with a vision to bring African diaspora women together into a powerful, connected ecosystem.

Her mission is to create opportunities for women to:

  • Build sustainable businesses
  • Access the right resources
  • Develop leadership confidence
  • Grow within a supportive and intentional community

ADWEN reflects her belief that collective empowerment creates lasting impact.
